簡義棋作品中，將繁雜抽離，僅保留自身所關愛的古董與多肉植物，畫面中的物件缺了影子，卻覆上寫實鮮豔飽和色彩，創造出立體效果平面世界的矛盾感。

立於作品投射出來的虛擬空間之中，觀想崩塌後新生的解構世界應是怎樣的存在？環繞在簡義棋作品間必定有感。

凝像I-30F-油彩-2015

植物扎根於拼接白色空間的康寶與可口可樂罐頭裡，往橘色空間裡生長茁壯，兩種空間跳接，看似靜態卻是一種時空流動或說是擾動更為貼切，初看時覺得裝飾性大過於實質意義性，物件與物件間看似獨立卻又是構築畫面缺一不可的存在。

凝像II-30F-油彩-2015

以理性的創作技法呈現，探討存在這平面畫布上發生的事，試圖另造新的視域。藉由扁平符號式的圖像來處理單純的二維空間，另在介入三維的物件與平面加以切割、並置、拼貼來達到一種空間擾亂的錯覺。將靜態性和虛幻性的空間來表現創作者的藝術情感。

To rational creative techniques presented to explore the existence of this plane canvas thing, trying to create a new perspective. By flat symbolic images to deal with a simple two-dimensional space, and the other involved in the three-dimensional objects and planes to be cut, juxtaposition, collage to achieve a spatial disruption illusion. Will be static and unreal space to express personal artistic emotion.

值與量II-50F-油彩、金箔-2016

攝影機窺視著這處最真實的虛擬世界，冰冷水泥磚房與攝影機透過富有生命力的植物打破沉寂，當同個畫面題材同時具有照像寫實技法以及色塊抽象的兩種元素，這種衝突仍是藝術家想找尋感性與理性的內在表現。

When the same picture theme with both photorealistic techniques and color abstraction of the two elements, this conflict is still I want to find the inherent manifestations of sensibility and rationality.

風起-20P-油彩-2017

特別喜愛黃色線條框架出來的立體世界，似是為了捕風捉影XD作為植物養分而建造的看台，十分有意思。採用一貫的靜物寫實技法描寫主體，然不同以往的背景處理放式，以一種色彩簡化、架空的形式來呈現出另一空間，以及以不真實的元素來構築畫面。

Using a consistent technique of still life and portrayal, the subject is described. Different from the past, background processing takes place in a color simplification and overhead form to present another space and to construct the picture with unreal elements.
